Profile assessment & photos

We look at your jawline from the side and photograph it, because this one changes over weeks, not minutes.

Cleanse & mark the grid

Chin, jaw and neck are cleaned and a treatment grid is drawn on, so every line gets covered once and only once.

Coupling gel

The gel is what carries the ultrasound in. Numbing cream here if you want it.

Deep pass — 4.5 mm

The SMAS layer, the one surgeons lift in a neck lift. You feel this pass as brief warm pinpoints.

Dermal pass — 3.0 mm

A second pass at a shallower depth, for the skin itself rather than the layer underneath.

Neck drainage

Fluid moved down the neck so the swelling settles faster.

The technology

HIFU reaches the layer surgeons lift.

High-intensity focused ultrasound passes through the surface and deposits its energy at a set depth, leaving the skin above untouched.

Focused, not spreadThe energy converges at a chosen depth and creates tiny coagulation points there. The surface is skipped entirely.
Two depths under the chinAround 3.0 mm works the dermis so skin contracts. Around 4.5 mm reaches the SMAS — the fibrous layer a surgeon tightens in a neck lift.
Tightening, then collagenThere is an immediate contraction, then the body rebuilds collagen at those points over the following weeks. The line keeps improving after you leave.
Best for mild to moderate fullnessHIFU firms lax skin and softens submental fullness. It is not a substitute for surgery on heavy laxity.
